About us

Revive Your Eyes, Reclaim Comfort

Dry eye is a common condition that occurs when the eyes do not produce enough tears or when the quality of the tears is poor, leading to discomfort and visual disturbances. Tears are essential for keeping the surface of the eye moist and lubricated, washing away debris and dust, and protecting the eye from infection.

Find Relief, Rediscover Comfort

Symptoms of dry eye can include:

• A gritty or sandy sensation in the eyes
• Burning or stinging eyes
• Redness of the eyes
• Blurred vision
• Eye fatigue
• Excessive tearing (a paradoxical symptom as it’s a reflex response to dryness)

Several factors can contribute to the development of dry eye, including aging, certain medications, environmental factors such as low humidity or air conditioning, and medical conditions such as Sjogren’s syndrome or rheumatoid arthritis.

During a dry eye assessment, our optometrist will typically ask the patient about their symptoms, such as dryness, burning, or irritation, and evaluate the patient’s tear production and quality
